“Healthy Mind, Healthy Life” is a practical program that supports individuals with learning Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tools and skills to reduce symptoms of depressions. The program is comprised of 12 sessions, divided into 3 modules:
Cognitive Module: Dealing with Negative Thinking
- Challenging negative thoughts, cognitive distortions, and pessimism
Behaviour Module: Changing Problematic Behaviours
- Action Plans, goal setting, relaxation, problem solving, and assertiveness
Self Esteem Module: Shifting Underlying Beliefs
- Challenging core beliefs, identifying self-criticisms, and self-compassion
Participants must be 18 years of age or older and experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of depression. No referral necessary, no fee to participate.
Preregistration is required. Registration dates are as follows: February 5, February 12, February 19, and February 26 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
