Job Description

Glen-Merritt Collision is look for an experienced licensed auto body repair technicians for their busy body shop.
This is a full-time position, afternoon shit 4:00 pm – 2:30 am  Monday – Thursday
To be successful in this position you need the following skillset:

  • manual dexterity,
  • creativity, patience and an eye for detail,
  • current knowledge of the annual changes manufacturers make in plastics, electronics, metals, supplemental restraints and paints,
  • good customer service skills, and
  • commitment to safe work habits.

Credentials Required

Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer license

Skills Required

  • File, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
  • Sand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from the paint
  • Follow supervisors’ instructions as to which parts to restore or replace and how much time the job should take
  • Remove damaged sections of vehicles using metal-cutting guns, air grinders and wrenches, and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment
