Job Location: Various locations in Ontario.

Wage: $36.50- $41.74 /hour (salary increases per collective agreement).

Employment terms and conditions: Permanent, full-time, 44 hours per week, Overtime (as per collective agreement), Day Shift.

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Duties:
• Follow specifications and adjust elevation changes or depth in the erection and setting forms for concrete structures
• Fill forms with concrete material
• Compact concrete with a tamper or compactor to bring it to the required grade
• Construct chutes, forms and align form panels for pouring concrete
• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials
• Assist with erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, trestles, bridge towers, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades
• Perform other related duties per collective agreement

Language: English

Work setting: Industrial, heavy construction projects, water treatment plant(s), wastewater treatment plant(s)

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads (up to 30 kg), bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, work at elevations.

Work Site Environment: Rural and urban areas; Outdoors, Dusty, Noisy, Traffic; Job entails working close to moving equipment and public traffic.

Own Tools and Equipment: Own CSA Grade 1 Safety Boots, at least 6 inches high. PPE supplied by employer.
