What will I be doing?

A Guest Service Agent will ensure all Guests feel cared for, valued and respected. This Team Member welcomes guests to the Hotel and registers them in the best room available according to their preferences. This role is responsible for accurate billing and ensures Guests are provided with hassle free service. The Guest Service Agent reviews the Best Guest Report arrivals and checks for any special requests, review any conference or bus resumes, up sell room types and promote hotel services and amenities. This role is responsible for completing the registration process, code electronic keys and assign appropriate selection of rooms. This Team Member ensures all guests are thanked and offered an invitation to return and wishes of safe travel.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a Guest Services position is an asset-Not a requirement
  • Previous experience with ONQ systems is an asset, Not a requirement

 

Skills

  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective Problem-Solving Ability
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Must be able to accurately communicate in English; verbal and written

 

Requirements

  • Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)
  • Must be available to work a variety of all shifts (Days, Afternoons, weekends, long weekends, holidays)
  • Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction.
