About the Opportunity
An opening exists for a part-time housekeeper to join our housekeeping team at Lookout Ridge.  Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, this position will provide essential cleaning services to our residents and to the building.

 

Our current opportunity offers 22.50-27.50 hours per week with additional hours from time to time.

 

Skill and Competencies Required:

  • Ability to demonstrate an empathetic, caring commitment to resident care and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Be capable of performing the physical demands of the job. This position provides housekeeping and cleaning duties for our residents and in common areas.
  • Ability to follow oral and written communication.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task as required with emphasis on timely completion of daily duties.
  • Must understand infection control and safe use of personal protective equipment.
  • Be willing to learn new methods or procedures demonstrating flexibility as required.
  • Be available to work weekday and weekend shifts as required.
  • Must always maintain confidentiality and be professional.
  • Must have completed WHMIS training.
  • Hours per bi-weekly payroll: 45-60 and includes part-time benefits
