Caroline Cellars Winery, one of Niagara’s best family owned and operated wineries, is hiring for Wine Boutique and Tasting Bar Associates – this is a part-time position comprising mostly of weekend shifts. As a busy, fast-paced, growing winery, ideal candidates for this position will have experience in the hospitality industry, with wine knowledge being an important asset. Candidates must be available to work weekends and have flexibility for some evening shifts.


  • Assist customers with wine tasting and purchases
  • Perform structured tastings for tour groups
  • Provide exceptional and professional customer service
  • Use a computer-operated point-of-sale system
  • Assist with special events
  • Stock wine and giftware
  • Performing general housekeeping duties


  • Smart Serve certification
  • Ability to work well within a team-focused environment
  • Wine knowledge an asset but not mandatory
  • Motivation to exceed sales targets
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be available to work on weekends and holidays
